Graduation Day on 30th March 2016
The Sr. Kg. section of Pre-primary wing of S.B Patil Public School celebrated Graduation Day on 30th March 2016.
It was presided over by our principal Ma’am Mrs. Madhubala Goirala who gave away the Graduation Certificates to our tiny tots.
The function started at 10.00am in the multipurpose hall at the school premises. It was an eye-catching event as the children wore graduation gowns and caps during the ceremony. The event was applauded by all members present.
Classroom Awards Make Kids feel Special !
We have conducted different competitions in Kindergarten through out A.Y. 2015-16. Winners were awarded by giving them prizes during Prize Distribution Ceremony. Then thought came what about those kids who have participated in competition. Last year we gave participation certificate to all participants. But we know at this age of 3 – 6 yrs., kids love awards/ gifts rather than getting only participation certificate. Hence this time we gave gift along with certificate to each participant to motivate and encourage them & their self confidence .We gave it to show them that we appreciate their efforts at this tiny age group.
The participants from Sr. Kg. of Pre-primary section were taken to multipurpose hall on 12the February 2016 for the object talk.Here the students brought their favorite toy or the toy / object on which they are going to speak on. The Students spoke on the object very nicely and made an effort to speak at-least 4-5 lines on it.
The main aim of the object talk is to enhance the English speaking ability combined with equipping the children with object information and the child's confidence as well as to build their English vocabulary.
About English Story telling
The participants from Jr. Kg. of Pre-primary section effortlessly narrated the story. The competition was conducted on 05th of February 2016. Few students came with their respective flash cards / props to narrate English story with action effectively. Story telling is a perfect avenue to explore when looking for ways to develop the oral language skills in a classroom.
It helps build self confidence and stage daring in the students
It develops personal relationships among all the children.
It provides opportunities for language development.
It supports students as they develop the language and learning strategies.
Clay Modeling Competition
The Clay modeling competion was conducted for Sr. Kg. and Jr. Kg. pre-primary section on 9th October 2015 in their respective classes. The theme for the Sr. Kg. was Insects and water animals and for Jr. Kg. it was Animals, fruits and vegetables.
The children made different types and forms of insects, water animals, animals, fruits and vegetables within the stipulated time. They used their creativity to the fullest and decorated it beautifully. Students presented the models and enjoyed fully making the images. Such kind of competitions brings out the hidden talents of our students.
Hindi story narration - 18th of September 2015
The participants from Sr.kg of Pre-primary section effortlessly narrated the story. The competition was conducted on 18th of September 2015. Few students came with their respective flash cards / props to narrate hindi story effectively. The main idea being to let the children be aware of their national language i.e 'Hindi' and a process of encouragement for future.
Shri Krishna Janmashtami - 3rd September 2015
Shri Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with sheer joy and enthusiasm on 3rd September 2015 in pre- primary section of S.B. Patil Public School. Our tiny tots were dressed up in "Krishna" , "Radha" , "Gopikas" and they were looking adorable in their costumes. Teachers explained the significance of this festival and taught them to be friendly and also the value of sharing. Little ones enjoyed the songs and videos of naughty Krishna. Then Jr.Kg children sang songs like 'choti choti gaeeya' beautifully while Sr.Kg children showed awesome performance in dance. Children also enjoyed the dahi handi a lot and it was marked one of the most memorable day. Later on coordinator Mrs. Shubhangi kulkarni thanked the teachers and children who worked enthusiastically to present the celebration.
S.B Patil Public School celebrated 'Rakhshabandhan' on 28th August 2015
Toddlers at S.B Patil Public School celebrated 'Rakhshabandhan' on 28th August 2015 to strengthen the bond of love, sharing, caring between brothers and sisters. The excitement of the day could be seen on the faces of little ones. All are looking vibrant as all dressed up in traditional dresses. The teacher explained the significance of the festival and showed videos and songs of the rakhi festival. Then rakhi celebration took place where girls tied rakhi on boy's wrist and chocolates were exchanged thereafter.
Independence Day - 2015
To ignite hearts, the passion of patriotism on the Independence Day, the pre- primary section celebrated the occasion on 17th August 2015 with pride and glory. The programme commenced with hoisting of the tricolour flag, followed by national anthem. Then tiny tots of Jr.Kg displayed their talents by a melodious song 'nanna- munna rahi hu' on the occasion. Teachers also showed videos related to Independence history ,struggles of our freedom fighters and stressed on importance of freedom.
Red colour day' - 30 th July 2015
Tiny tots of our pre- primary section celebrated 'Red colour day' on 30 th July 2015. On this occasion, cute faces all dressed in the red colour. Teachers showed red colour objects and red colour song . The little ones enjoyed this day to the fullest by doing red colour activity and also learned about red colour which symbolizes power , courage, love and affection.
'Patriotic song competition' - 7th August 2015
The little kids from Sr.Kg surprised everyone with their stupendous performance. The children sang patriotic song flawlessly and expressed their love and respect towards the country. This was the 'Patriotic song competition' held on 7th August 2015. The children enjoyed the competition and seemed strong sense of patriotism. Such competitions enables little ones to develop their intellectual and cultural skills and also helps them to become responsible citizens.
Sr.kg independence shloka recitation - 31st July 2015
The participants from Sr.kg of Pre-primary section recited the 'independence shloka' quite effortlessly. The competition was conducted on 31st July 2015. Some children came with surprise element when they explained the meaning of their shloka beautifully. The main idea behind this competition to let the children aware of mother of all languages i.e 'independence' and also to get an idea of 'vedic scriptures'. So that children preserve their rich tradition and culture from which they are constantly moving away.
'Ashadhi Ekadashi' celebration on 24th july 2015
The Tiny tots of our pre-primary section celebrated the festival of 'Ashadhi Ekadashi' with great enthusiasm on 24th july 2015. Students wore traditional dresses and some little one's also dressed up as 'warkaris'. The teacher also told children about the importance of 'ashadhi ekadashi'. Then students of jr.kg sung beautiful song and dance performed by sr.kg on this auspicious occasion. Palkhi also decorated with flowers and had photographs of 'lord Vitthal - Rakhumai' placed in it. Students carried the 'palkhi' in the Dindi procession and chanted ' vithal vithal jai hari vithal'. This encourages students to take interest and know about our cultural heritage.
Nursery marathi recitation competition held on 24th July 2015
The cordial encouragement of both parents and teachers clearly seemed when the toddlers of nursery section energetically participated in marathi poem recitation competition. Small hands holded the mice , recited their marathi poem very nicely and beautifully. This was held on 24th July 2015 keeping in mind the need to accept and appreciate their mother tongue.
Hindi Poetry recitation competition for Jr.Kg section on 17 july 2015
To develop communication and interactive skills among the students, S.B.Patil Public School ( SBPPS) organized Hindi Poetry recitation competition for Jr.Kg section on 17 july 2015. The students from Jr.kg section participated in large number and recited their poems in an impressive manner. Children also used beautiful props while reciting their poems. The way the students recited was amazing and surprising also.
