Orientation Guidelines for Parents[A.Y.2016-17]Date:2-04-2016

School Timings:

For the month of April:
9:30 a.m. – 1:30p.m -  11 th April to 29 th April16
(Summer vacation  from 30/4/16 to 12/6/16 )

For the month of June: School Reopens on  13 th June’16
Timings :- 9:30a.m. – 1:30a.m.

Office Timings :
9.00 am to 12.00 pm 
Counselor Timings :  Wednesday to Friday – 9 a.m. to 12 noon , 1st & 3rd  Saturday – 10 a.m.to 2 p.m. 
Books  & Homework :

  • Send all the books, notebooks, crayon box, clay box, with sticker and child’s name on it (every belongings of the child must be labeled).(Also send child’s last year’s, i.e. Jr Kg. Hindi varnmala book along with all other books)
  • Send it on very 1st day of the school i.e. 11th April’16
  • School bag, tiffin bag & water bottle must also have child’s name on it. (any loss school shall not be responsible.)
  • To reduce excess burden on child, school keeps some books & notebooks in school itself. Only few books will be carried by the child every day.
  • Details of books & notebooks to be kept in the school are provided here.
  • Parents are requested to see the books are not spoilt. Teach them the importance & handling of the books.
  • Whenever homework is given, send the book next day by completing the H.W. without fail to school. It is parent’s responsibility to get the pending work completed if books not sent to school on time.
  • Don’t send your child for tuitions, instead give daily your quality time during his/her homework.

Stationery :

  • Send two big sharpened pencils, one eraser, one sharpener & one scale everyday to school in a simple compass box. No fancy pencils, erasers, sharpener, compass box are allowed.

Colour Days :

  • Once in a month we celebrate ‘Colour Day’ to make the concepts clear regarding the various colours. The day is mentioned in the Yearly Planner. Send the child wearing that coloured dress. If don’t have that coloured dress, tuck same coloured hanky on any civil dress. But make sure that child is not wearing school uniform that day.

Uniform :

  • Kindly send your child in a proper school uniform i.e. uniform + I-card + school black shoes + school white socks + black hair band for girls & it will be strictly observed by the class teacher.
  • Kindly send a napkin & a handkerchief daily to school.

Discipline :

  • Children those are not coming by the school bus, must report 5 minutes before the school timings. After the school timings, the school gates will be closed & your child will not be allowed to attend the school for that day. In that case do not argue with the guard or any school authority.
  • Do not send any valuable items or gold ornaments with your child. In case of any loss school will not be responsible.


Kindly note : Do not make your child wear bangles, bindi’s or any kind of ornaments. No mehendi and nail polish to be applied. Cut child’s nails & hair regularly. Girls with long hair  should tie two pony tails with black rubber band or ribbon and wear black cloth hair band only. Girls with short hair should wear black cloth hair band only. No fancy or plastic hair band to be put. It will be collected if observed.

  • Walk- In student will not be released/handover to anyone other than his/her own parents.
  • Try to communicate with your child daily in English at least 4/5 sentences.

Diary :

  • Once you get the diary kindly fill all the details / information on both the pages of the diary and submit it next day immediately to the class teacher.
  • School diary  for circulars and Monthly reports to be checked & signed by parents regularly.
  • In case of leave, prior information must be given to the class teacher through the school diary (Parents remark page ).
  • If your child is not feeling well, do not send him/her to the school & write a note of the same in diary.
  • If the child is absent for more than two days due to illness kindly submit medical certificate to the class teacher.
  • Parents should keep staff informed of any changes of  phone numbers, address, place of work, or baby sitters.

Brunch :
As per the suggestions from counselor and teachers brunch is made compulsory for all Sr.Kg students. For     
any query meet Principal madam

  • Everyday send tiffin bag with your child which must contain a water bottle with properly fitted lid and ,a napkin  .
  • Do not send tiffin box as Brunch is compulsory .
  • Do not send any toys, chocolates, junk food, juices/any kind of aerated drinks to school with the child.

Holidays :

  • All Saturdays & Sundays will be holiday for children.
  • Kindly refer yearly planner for other holidays / festivals.

Yearly Planner:

  • Kindly refer yearly planner everyday or once a week for competitions, celebrations, holidays and evaluation dates.

Curriculum :

  • Throughout   the year children will develop their reading, writing & speaking skills for Languages & Maths.
  • They will be learning more about different concepts such as Myself, My Family, Fruits & vegetables, Transport, Animals, Insects, Our Helpers & many more.

Evaluation :

  • As the kids are too young to understand the meaning of examination, he/she will be evaluated by the teacher, quarterly on the basis of written, oral, practical, motor skills of the child.
  • Exams cannot be pre-poned or post-poned.
  • If the child is not well during exams kindly do not send child to school and submit medical certificate for the same.

Open Days :

  • It is compulsory to attend all the Open days. Strictly follow the given slot. Papers will not be shown after open day.
  • Parents can meet teachers on 3rd Saturday between 10 a.m. – 11.30 a.m. of every month .  Parents those come to drop & pick the children cannot meet teacher other than above mentioned day.

Competitions :

  • Competitions entry to be sent before semifinals. Entry to be written on a paper with child’s name and class/division. Poems, stories or shlokas should be out of the syllabus and need to be written and sent. Kindly refer yearly planner for the competition semifinal and final dates.
  • Participation in  at least two competitions is compulsory for every child.

Library :

  • For SR.KG. Classes we have introduced library session twice in a month.
  • We request parents to encourage their children to converse in English by having regular conversation in English language.

Sports :

  • Indoor & Outdoor sports activities will be conducted every week.
  • The school conducts  Sports Week & arrange different  races for the students.


  • Birthday’s can be celebrated in school & child can wear colourful dress, chocolates can be distributed but no return gifts instead, if parents wish can donate a book for school library.

  • Only online fees can be paid.

  • Cover & label all my notebooks & books.
  • Send all my notebooks, books, crayon box, clay box, sanitizer bottle & extra pair of dress to school with my name on each of the mentioned things.
  • Drop me to school and pick me from school on time.


  • On very 1st day bus facility will be available but new parents are expected to drop & pick the child for the 1st day.

• When you thought I wasn't looking, I saw you hang my first painting on the refrigerator, and I immediately wanted to paint another one. 
• When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you feed a stray cat, and I learned that it was good to be kind to animals.
