Hindi Story Telling Competition

A 'Story telling competition' is the best competition to enhance kid's confidence level, stage daring, voice modulation as well as presentation skills with the props. Keeping it in mind "Hindi Story Telling Competition" was conducted for Jr. Kg. on 21-9-18. Many students took part with great enthusiasm and creatively made props. Story contents were different and lengthy, still students presented it with correct understanding . Everyone was giving introduction in Hindi language. The moral of each story is the motivation for tiny tots.

English Recitation Competition

Poem is a mode of expression, a medium to reflect the latent talents of the young ones. Children participated in English Recitation competition held on 30th August 2018. Overall participant showed their confidence, expression and talent in the competition as well as their eye catching props added icing to the cake. Poetry gets to their core meaning. It expands ideas as well as rhymes can prove to be instrumental stepping stones for young children to drill properly and improve pronunciation. Rhymes recitation is one of the important activity which helps in removing kids hesitation and promoting them to perform on the stage.

Janmashtami Celebration

Janmashtami is celebrated every year on the eighth day of Krishna Paksh known as an Ashtami. The occasion is observed especially in Mathura & Vrindavan.

Our Preprimary section celebrated this event very enthusiastically on 31st August 2018. Our tiny tots were dressed up as Radha & Krishna. The programme was sparkled in presence of honorable Principal Ma'am, respected coordinator Shubhangi Ma'am & sub-coordinators. The school was decorated by the teachers & gave a feel like we are in Gokul. There was a Handi hanging at the centre of the multipurpose hall & broke by our "Balgopal". Our little ones danced as Radha & Krishna on melodious song & atmosphere was filled with great joy & festive spirit.

The anchoring was done by Mrs. Priyanka Agarwal & vote of thanks given by Miss. Vaishali Baynoor.

Yellow Day Activity

Pre-primary wing celebrated Yellow colour Day on 29th August 2018. Cheerful children attired in yellow outfits were sparkling with optimism, enlightenment and happiness. Beams of yellow shades carried the promise of a positive future flashing creative thoughts in the young minds. Focusing on the theme the teacher planned art, craft, cutting, crumpling, tearing, flashing, collage activities. The main board was reverberated with emojis as well as advantages and disadvantages of smart phones. Sunflowers were smiling at the boarders.

Rakshabandhan Celebration

Raksha-Bandhan is a special occasion to celebrate the bond of love between brothers & sisters.

To instil the virtues of love & harmony among our young ones, “Raksha –Bandhan was celebrated in our pre-primary section on 24th August 2018.

The kids came in a traditional wear. The girls of pre-primary section made beautiful rachis for the boys & boys made gifts like ear-rings, hair-pins, wall hanging as a token of love.

Teachers explained the importance of this celebration in their respective classes. The girls tided rakhis on the boys’ wrist. The children enjoyed the celebration.

Pre-Primary section of S. B. Patil Public School celebrated 72nd Independence Day in multipurpose hall on 14th August in the afternoon. The highly enthusiastic students of pre-primary section were eagerly waiting for the program. Our honorable principal madam, the coordinator and sub coordinator were present. The flag hoisting was done by our beloved principal madam, followed by National Anthem.

Red Day Celebration

The colour of love and smiles illuminates the air with energy, vigor and exuberance.

KG wing of S. B. Patil Public School celebrated “Red colour Day” on 31st July 2018 to introduce children the mesmerizing realm of colours. The shades of Red made our tiny tots feel bright, lively and cheerful.

Red colour symbolizes enthusiasm, life and vitality. The day started off with Red colour everywhere. Our little ones spent a spectacular Red day. Boards were displayed various Red colour activities made by the children. Special Assembly was conducted with emphasis on significance of Red colour. The young ones sang the song” Red red apples are red”. Teacher had a surprise for children with ‘Magi box’ that contained Red items. Each red item made its appearance with children chanting the magic spell “Aabra ka dabra gilli gilli whoosh”. The atmosphere was filled with excitement, surprise and enjoyment. Indeed Red day was a learning activity which will have a long lasting effect on each.

The tiny tots were looking stunning in their Red out fits. Teacher discussed the theme in circle time and linked it to all subjects. Colours are indeed the smiles of nature. The Red colour day celebration was a wonderful learning activity which helped children to sort and classify objects based on colours by reinforcing cognitive skills.

It was a scintillating day with innocent faces gleaming and reflecting brightness, joy, love and happiness.

Fruit & Vegetables Market

A growing body requires fruits and vegetables that are critical to promote good health. As the topic of the month “Fruits and vegetables”, there was fruits and vegetables market set up in our School’s pre-primary section.

A market was set up by pre-primary teachers under the guidance of our Coordinator Mrs. Shubhangi Kulkarni ma’am, Sub coordinators Payal ma’am and Nayana ma’am on 24thth July 2018.

The students of pre primary section learnt about fruits and vegetables in a unique way. Children were able to identify fruits and vegetables. Teachers explained the colour and shapes of different fruits and vegetables.

The students acquired a good exposure of buying and selling procedure. They also understood the significance of fruits and vegetables for healthy life and the purchase and sale involved with money. The children participated enthusiastically in the activity. It was a practical learning.

Hindi Recitation Competition - Nursery

Recitation is an art and can be a lot of fun. Besides helping to build poise and confidence which are always valuable. To therefore, instill a love for this and to develop recitation skills amongst our little ones, Hindi recitation competition was held in our Nursery section on 20th July 2018.

Young children charmed the judge with their poise, grace, confidence and expressions. The use of innovative, artistic and creative props enlivened the enactment and made the whole competition a treat to watch. The tiny tots thoroughly enjoyed the recitation.

Ashadhi Ekadashi Celebration

Ashadhi Ekadashi is an auspicious day of God Shri Vitthal and is a festival of religious procession. To make children aware of our great tradition like Palkhi, great saints who gave thought of social equality and tried to inculcate moral values, our pre-primary section celebrated Ashadhi Ekadashi on 23rd July 2018 with great enthusiasm.

The Palkhi was decorated beautifully with flowers. Students dressed as Warkaris. some students played the roles of Vitthal, Rukmini, and other saints.

The programme was witnessed by our Principal mam, pre-primary coordinator mam, and sub-coordinators, teachers and students. The teacher explained the importance of Ashadhi Ekadashi. All the students carried the palkhi in a procession all over the school premises. The entire school campus reverberated with the chanting of vitthal vitthal jai hari vitthal. The tiny tots carried banners with the message like say no plastic to spread awareness of avoid use of plastic. Our students made paper bags as the activity and carried with them at home. The atmosphere was filled with gaiety and spiritually. This celebration encouraged the students to participate in the rich cultural traditions of our country and know more about their heritage.

Sanskrit Shloka Competition - Sr. Kg.

Sanskrit is the mother of all languages. The beauties of its sound, precision in pronunciation and reliability as well as thoroughness in every aspect of its structures, make it a unique language. Chanting shloka can help to improve concentration and energize the brain. To expose students to these benefits of chanting shloka and to nurture these qualities among our students, Sanskrit shloka competition was held in sr. kg section on 13th July 2018.

The students took part with great enthusiasm. They showcased their flair and dedication to attain perfection in recitation and reached the height of excellence. Children enjoyed the beauty of expression, thoughts, feelings and exhibited their talent and confidence. Their performances were very impressive and worth appreciating.

What an amazing start of the new academic year 2018-19!! Poetry is the rhythmical creation of beauty in words. Keeping in this mind “Hindi Recitation competition” was held in our Jr. Kg. section on 6th July 2018. Through this competition our little ones exhibited their talent and confidence. They also improve their vocabulary. Children recited different poems with action and great enthusiasm. They also used different props to exhibit their poems.
