Celebration / Competition 2012-2013

Celebration of National Science Day

National Science Day was celebrated on 28th February in the school. Sakshi Khole from IV std gave a speech on science day and its importance. Varun Desai from IV std gave information on Indian scientists. Students from IV std made a model on DAY & NIGHT and gave an explanation. Also inter-house science quiz competition was held from atd I to std II, in which all the students participated with a great enthusiasm.

Republic Day

School celebrated Republic Day with a great enthusiasm. Patriotism prevailed in the atmospere. The guest of honors were our trustees - Shri Bhaijan Kazi and Shri V.S. Kalbhor secretary of PCET. After flag hoisting march past took place .Students presented national song ,patriotic song and speeches .Hon. shri Bhaijan Kazi and Principal madam guided on the occasion.
Students of std I to IV performed various activities like standing and sitting exercises, asanas, pyramids and lazim with a great enthusiasm.

Gandhi Jayanti

Gandhi jayanti was celebrated on 1/10/2012 with true spirit. Light was thrown on the work and principles of Mahatma Gandhi. Students presented speeches, songs and skit based on the life of Gandhiji. Students were also given information regarding shree Lalbahadur Shastriji and senior citizen day.

Ganesh Chaturthi

Ganesh chaturthi was celebrated on 18th September. Students of 1th and 4th std celebrated it with teachers and the Principal by offering flowers and chanting shlokas to ecofriendly Ganesh Idol made from vegetables.

Hindi Diwas

Hindi diwas was celebrated on 14th September. Students from std 1th to 4th recited poems, told short stories and small skits were played by 3rd and 4th standard students. The importance of Hindi Diwas was explained by the Principal. She also stressed the importance of three language formula in present education system. The light was thrown on multilinguistic approach in the age of globalization.

Teachers Day Celebration

Teachers day was celebrated with great enthusiasm. Every child participated in it. Elder students decorated the classes and display boards, presented entertainment programme, distributed sweets, offered flowers and greeting cards.
The younger students came up with fancy dress show. Which fascinated one and all. Management extended their best wishes. Hon. Padmatai Bhosale, the Trustee congratulated the teachers for their good work and distributed the gift as a token of good wishes.The programme filled with songs and speeches concluded with the happy note in the midst of sweet aroma of lunch.

Independence Day

Independence Day was celebrated with true spirit and fervor. Hon.Smt.Padmatai Bhusale madam,the Trustee, presided over the function and unfurled the national flag .Which was followed by the national Anthem, Pledge and parade by the students. Hon.Chief Guest Shri Vitthal S.Kalbhor, the secretary of pimpri-Chinchwad Education Trust and the special guest Hon.Shri Sayyed Ismile Kaji, the Trustee addressed the students on the occasion. The speeches and patriotic songs filled the atmosphere with the patriotism. The vote of thanks and distribution of sweet concluded the programme.

Dindi celebration

As a part of extra curricular activities, Dindi was organized on 29/06/12 to mark the auspicious day of Ashadi Ekadashi. The students from standard I to lV took out the procession. Some students were in the attire of saints and deities and others in colourful traditional dress. The students went around sector- 25 of Pradhikaran, Nigdi and entered Vitthal Temple. Where they performed Puja. Bhajans and Abhanga were recited. The whole atmosphere was pious and joyful.


 

Celebration of Tilak Punya TIthi and Raksha Bandhan

On August 1,2012, the festivity prevailed in the atmosphere. In the assembly the students remembered Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak and paid their tribute. His slogan, "swaraj is my birth right and I shall have it" made the atmosphere vibrant. The screening of film on Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak enhanced the spirit of the students. To mark the festival of Raksha Bandhan girls tied beautiful rakhi to the wrist of the boys. where as the boys in turn gifted sweets to the girls. As per tradition the girls also applied vermillion to the forehead of the boys and adorned it with rice grains. Special screening of the children film "Balak aur janwar" doubled the joy. Students were served the pineapple flavoured "Sheera". It made their joy many fold.
