Celebration / competition 2016-2017

COLOURS OF PATRIOTISM UNLEASHED IN REPUBLIC DAY AT S.B.PATIL PUBLIC SCHOOL

In a very grand celebration that marked the 68th Republic Day of Democratic India; P.C.E.Ts S.B.Patil Public School celebrated the national festival with great pomp & patriotism.

The Vice President of our Pimpri Chinchwad Education Trust, Mrs. Padmatai Bhosale, Secretary of our trust, Mr. V.S. Kalbhor, our Trustee of P.CE.T.Mr. BhaijanKazi, Principal of S.B.Patil Junior College of Science & Commerce Mrs. Kamthe Ma’am, Our Principal Mrs. MadhubalaGairola, P.T.A. Members, Teachers & students were present for the occasion.

The function started with the Flag Hoisting Ceremony & National Anthem. This was followed by March Pass by the Scout Guide Troop & students of the senior classes. The School’s Choir Group guided by Music teacher, Mrs. MitaGhosal also presented a Character – based patriotic song. The Scout –Guide Troop also presented a patriotic song; guided by Mr. KuldeepGhadge. .Some speeches were also presented by the following students:

  1. Master AdityaGanjare( Std II A ) – Speech in Hindi.
  2. MissAnujaShetty (Std VIII A) – Speech in English
  3. Miss AkshayaTanpure (Std VI)  -  Speech in Marathi.

There were also colourful presentation put up by students – Saree drill, Lezim presentation, Karate Demonstrations, Yoga Exercises drill, Mallakhamb Demos. School teacher Mr. PravinKalhapure elaborated on the importance of understanding India as a sovereign free nation & strives to uphold the nation’s dignity in future.

The Chief Guest of the function, Mr. BhaijanKazi, in his address – He addressed He called upon the students to value this hard – earned freedom & uphold the integrity & pride of our country. He also highlighted the huge responsibilities upon parents & grown-ups in general & teachers in particular to shape a resourceful generation of professionals for future India.

Principal Mrs. MadhubalaGairola guided the organizing of the event.  Co - ordinator Mrs. Padmavati Banda, P.T. teachers Mr. DhanajiPatil , Mr. ChandrakantThombare, Art teacher Mr. SunnjoyVispute, , Mr. KuldeepGhadge, , Mrs. MitaGhosal, Mrs. Nirupama Kale, Mrs. RachanaSisodiya& Mrs. ManjushaNathe organized the proceedings of the celebration. C.C.A. in charge Ms. SwalehaMujawar& the entire staff cooperated in the successful execution of the function. The Function was compeered by Mrs. RachanaSisodiya, who also proposed the Vote of Thanks.

TEST OF SPONTANEITY AT EXTEMPORE COMPETITION

Our School had organized an Extempore Competition for its Students of Std V – X on the 8th of November 2016. Students displayed great amount of confidence & basic knowledge about the topics that were given to them on the very spot. They did not fumble around nor displayed any negativity in speaking out on one of the following topics given to them:-

Students were very enthused about the topics given to them & spoke vividly on each. The judges of the Event were our Sub- co- ordinators of the Pre- Primary Section of our School, Mrs. Payal Nihalani & Mrs. Anuradha Bhatnagar. Miss Swaleha Mujawar, Mrs. Geetanjali Zambre & Mrs. Ayesha Syed successfully executed the event. Miss Swaleha Mujawar compeered the session, introduced the Judges & also proposed the Vote of Thanks.

CHILDREN’S DAY CELBRATIONS IN OUR SCHOOL

Our School celebrated Children’s’ Day – which marks the birth anniversary of the first Prime Minister of Independent India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru ; at its campus on Tuesday 15th November 2016. Principal Mrs. Madhubala Gairola, School co- ordinator Mrs. Padmavati Banda, teachers & students were present for the occasion. Our school paid rich tributes to the great leader on this occasion. The celebrations began with the garlanding of the photograph of Pandit Nehru at the hands of our School Head Boy Master Tanuj Sansare & Head Girl Miss Rutuja Gharge. This was followed by a group song presented by some teachers. guided by Mr. Kuldeep Ghadge. Our Hindi teacher Mrs. Rachana Sisodiya presented a poem in Hindi, celebrating the colourful days of innocent childhood. .

Our Social Science teacher Mr. Pravin kalhapure delivered a speech about the significance of the day. Our Marathi teacher Mrs. Vandana Sangle focused on the vision given by our present P.M. Mr. Narendra Modi – about a vibrant India. She also referred to the fact that by year 2020; India would be a country with the largest percentage of young population & hence children should understand that future India is all in their hands. Some teachers put up a foot – tapping dance performance; choreographed by Mrs. Vishakha Sonkamble & Mrs. Josephine Jadhav. School co-ordinator Mrs. Padmavati Banda addressed the students to enjoy each moment of childhood & to inculcate good habits & set ambitions to become resourceful citizens of the country.

In her address to the students; Principal Mrs. Gairola made students understand that the days of childhood comprise of innocence, curious exploration, and mischievous behavior –but at the same time they should also realize that the seeds of the elderly years are sown at this stage. Habits that are developed now will in turn shape us & create us in future. She called upon students to enjoy childhood; they also need to learn & inculcate skills & attributes that are a requisite for the future ; as future India depends on what its resent younger citizens behold with them.

REPORT ON DIWALI CELEBRATION COMPETITIONS

Our School had organized a various competitions for its Students, in context wit the forthcoming Diwali festival celebrations on Wednesday, 26th October 2016.

Students were much surprised & greatly amazed by the presentations put up for them by their teachers. It was an icing on the cake –as it was their first day of School post Diwali vacations. Principal Mrs. Gairola guided the proceedings of the celebrations. School co- ordinator Mrs. Padmavati Banda & C.C.A. - in – Charge Miss Swaleha Mujawar arranged the proceedings of the function. All the teachers whole –heartedly co- operated & participated enthusiastically in the grand success of the occasion. Miss Swaleha Mujawar compeered the session & also proposed the Vote of Thanks.

HINDI DIWAS CELBRATIONS

Our School celebrated Hindi Diwas at its Campus on Wednesday , the 14th of September 2016.

Principal Mrs. Madhubala Gairola, Co-ordinator Mrs. Padmavati Banda, teachers & students were present for the occasion. The Morning Assembly of the School was conducted in Hindi language to mark the occasion.

Hindi Teachers Mrs. Rachana Sisodiya & Mrs. Chandrakala gave information about the significance of the language & why it has been attributed a Special day in the Almanac. Mrs. Rachana also demonstrated an A-V Presentation about the significance of the national language. Students performed a skit in Hindi on the issue of rampant corruption in society.

Principal Mrs. Madhubala Gairola called upon the students to take pride in Hindi as a National language & also to treat all other languages at par –since India is home to such great variety of language & dialects put together. She highlighted the fact that if Sanskrit be considered the mother of all Indian languages; then Hindi should be referred to as her sister concern. She asserted that as we are converting form a close geographical identity to a vast global platform; it becomes very important for us to learn as many languages as possible to be able to communicate our thoughts & ideas to others. She also elaborated upon the phenomena that , literature being a part of any language in use –is a reflection of any society; reflecting the common sentiments, practices & ideals that get a vent by means of poems, couplets, duplets, octets, plays, stories, biographies , travelogues etc.

Principal Mrs. Madhubala Gairola guided the organization of the Day. Co-ordinator Mrs. Banda, Mrs. Sakshi Shinde, Mrs. Deepika, Mrs. Chandrakala & Mrs. Rachana organized the proceedings of the event. Miss Pragati Chowgule of Std VII A compeered the event & also proposed the Vote of Thanks.

JANMASHTAMI CELBRATIONS

The holy festival of Janmashtami or the birthday of Lord Shri Krishna was celebrated in the daily assembly sessions of our School on Thursday 25th & Friday 26th of August 2016.

Students of Std I, II, III & IV had performed various songs & dance presentations during the celebrations. Little kids dressed as Krishna, Radha, Gopis & Gopikas added lots of colour & joy to the whole scenario. As guided by their teachers, the kids danced to the tunes of the foot –tapping songs singing the praise & glory of Natkhat Gopal. The icing on the cake was the Dahi – Handi presentation where cute Krishnas break the pots of curds & loot them away; while Radha, Gopis & Gopikas join the fun.

School Co-ordinator Mrs. Padmavati Banda & House Teachers of Red House from Std I – II Mrs. Prachi Girme, Mrs. Manjusha Shiraskar & Mrs. Rohini & Mrs. Nivedita Biswas, Mrs. Bhagyashree & Mrs. Varsha Deshmukh of Std III – V guided the students in putting up the colourful performances.

CREATIVE HANDS AT WORK

Our students are equally well versed in demonstrating exemplary aesthetic skills along with their academics.

We feel loads of pride as we state this not just in words. This is vividly evident from the variety displayed in the greeting cards & the beautiful rakhis prepared by the students on their own. The range of ideas shared & the uniqueness of each creation speaks on its own that our students are abundantly creative; & given a competitive atmosphere – they perform as if second to none.

Our Judges for the event – Mr. Kuldeep Ghadge, Mrs. Archana Prabhune, Mrs. Vandana Sangle & Mr. Sunnjoy Vispute had a tough time in trying to figure out the best out of a whole lot of the best creations by our students. Our students shall also be appearing for the State Level Elementary Examinations for Drawing under the guidance of Mr. Vispute Sir. Our students are well into preparation for the same as they have prepared many artistic drawings & paintings.

In an excellent attempt to stand among fellow artist students pan Maharashtra state, our students of P.C.E.T.’s S.B. Patil Public School displayed exemplary performance at the State level Elementary & Intermediate Drawing Grade Examinations, organized by the Director of Art, Art Examination Committee, Government of Maharashtra. FLAVOURS OF SWEETNESS & JOY RELISHED & SHARED AT OUR SCHOOL

Our School had organized an Eid Milan Function at its Campus on Saturday 30th July 2016. The occasion was graced by Our Chief Guest for the occasion - Trustee of Pimpri Chinchwad Education Trust; Hon’ble Mr. Bhaijan Kazi, Our guest of Honour Mrs. Desai Ma’am, Our Hon’ble Principal Mrs. Madhubala Gairola Ma’am, School Co-ordinator Mrs. Padmavati Banda & all our teachers of the Pre- primary & the Primary Sections.
Miss Swaleha Mujawar welcomed the gathering & introduced the purpose behind arranging the celebration; as guided by Principal Ma’am. She narrated in a nutshell the significance of Ramzan month & Ramzan Eid in particular. Under the guidance of our Music teacher Mrs. Mita Ghosal; our teachers Mrs. Sucharita Roy, Miss Aparna Jagdale, Mrs. Rohini, Mrs. Manjusha Nathe, Mrs. Rajlakshmi Gupta, Mrs. Chandrakala, Mrs. Anjali Gugale & Miss Chaitali presented a song highlighting the significance of the event. In his address; Mr. Bhaijan Kazi congratulated our Principal Ma’am for taking the initiative in organizing events such as this one & all the teachers for actively participating in it. He stated that such get togethers were a very essential in the process of Social Engineering Process that has now become part & parcel of modern day education. He called upon everyone to celebrate the various traditional Indian festivities ranging all directions of our Indian sub- continent; so that the message of tolerance, oneness, pride, harmony & joy leave no place for hatred, envy, intolerance & ethnocentric attitudes from creeping in the young minds of our future of our nation – our students.
Later everyone present savoured the delicious ‘Sheer Khurma” along with some snacks. Greetings & well wishes exchanged hands –to –hearts; the event experienced harmonial success & the cordial message of adhesive co-existence as Indians – being sent around.
The organization of the event was guided by our Hon’ble Principal Mrs. Gairola Ma’am & our School Co-ordinator Mrs. Padmavati Banda Ma’am. Miss Swaleha Mujawar, Mrs. Ayesha Syed, Mrs. Safiya Sayyed, Miss Shahanoor Khan, Miss Afshan Shaikh, Miss Farheen, Mrs. Jasmine Shikalgar, Mrs. Rohini, Miss Chaitali C, Mrs. Suchieta P, Mr. Sunnjoy Vispute & all teachers co-ordinated in the overwhelming success of the celebration.
