Our School conducted a Special Assembly on the auspicious occasion of Guru Pournima at its Campus on the 16th of July 2019. Principal of the School, Dr. Bindu Saini, School Co –ordinator Mrs. Padmavati Banda, teachers & students of Std. VIII – X were present on the occasion.

The Choir Group presented a song highlighting the significance of the occasion. Student of Std X Miss Diya Siroya presented a speech to highlight the significance of the occasion. Students of Std X Master Pratham and Master Rohit Kiroula presented poems in Hindi about the importance of a Guru. Students of Std IX presented a short skit focussing on practising the teachings of a Guru in daily life. In her address to the students, Principal Dr. Saini ma’am remarked that if Guru be the human incarnation of the omnipresence of God on Earth, then it becomes the utmost duty of every disciple to obey his/her Guru from the core of the heart and soul; and to walk the path shown by the Guru with due obedience and faith.

Students offered creatively crafted flowers as a token of their love, obedience and affection to our Principal Dr. Bindu Saini, School Co –ordinator Mrs. Padmavati Banda and all the teachers.

Principal Dr. Bindu Saini guided the proceedings of the event. School Co- ordinator Mrs. Padmavati Banda and C.C.A. in charge Mrs. Anita Suryavanshi organized the proceedings of the day. Mrs. Pravina More, Mrs. Richa Sharma, Mrs. Sulochana Pawar & students of the Green and Red Houses conducted the Special Assembly for the day

Learning Outcomes : Students developed a more polished obedient pattern of behaviour towards their Gurus.(Teachers)

Our School organized a Speech Competition for the Students of Std V – VII on Monday, 29th of July 2019.Students prepared well for the respective topics given to them viz.

TOPICS FOR STD V:
1. Slow and steady wins the race. 2. A Friend in Need Is a Friend indeed.
TOPICS FOR STD VI:
1. Look before you leap 2. The most unforgettable book I have read.
TOPICS FOR STD VII:
1. A stitch in time saves nine 2. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

Students were very enthused about the Competition arranged for them. They expressed their ideas very confidently & also the one who were participating for the first time developed good stage confidence. The judges for Std V were Mrs. Shubhangi Kulkarni; Mrs. Sakina Bootwala & Miss Reema Ambre.The judges for Std VI were Mrs. Padmavati Banda, Mrs. Nirupama Kale & Mrs. Archana Prabhune. The judges for Std VII were Mrs. Nirupama Kale, Mrs. Payal Nihalani & Mrs. Leena Verghese. The Winners at the competition were as follows:

Our Principal Dr. Mrs. Bindu Saini guided the organizing of the competition. She helped, guided and gave directive inputs in the entire execution of the event. School Co-ordinator Mrs. Padmavati Banda, sub co-ordinator Mrs. Vandana Sangle co-ordinated in the execution of the competition. Miss Swaleha Mujawar and Mrs. Gladys Stanley compeered the sessions of the competition.

Learning Outcomes: Students were able to express their ideas freely. They developed stage confidence & public speaking skills as well.

Our School had organized a patriotic song competition for its students of STD I – IV; on the 29th of July 2019.

Students presented various songs demonstrating nationalism & in –depth sense of patriotism composed by different poets & lyricists. They enjoyed presenting the songs with vivid expressions, gestures & even props suitable to their presentations. Faculty Members from the Pre- Primary Section of our School - Mrs. Maithili Rajendra (Music teacher), Mrs. Rama Shetty & Mrs. Priyanka Agrawal were the judges for the event that took place in two slots; Std I-II & Std III- IV.

Our Principal Dr. Mrs. Bindu Saini guided us in the execution of the competition. School Co-ordinator Mrs. Padmavati Banda & sub co-ordinator Mrs. Archana Prabhune organized the slot- wise arrangements for the event. Miss Swaleha Mujawar anchored the competition & also extended the Vote of Thanks.

An Extempore (English) Competition was organized in the school campus for the students of Std VIII - X on Monday, 22nd of July 2019. Our Principal Dr. Mrs. Bindu Saini, School Co-ordinator Mrs. Padmavati Banda, Sub co-ordinator for Std VIII – X, Mrs. Nirupama Kale, teachers and students were present for the event. Prof Mrs. Priyanka Garg, S.B. Patil Junior College of Commerce & Science, along with our School Co-ordinator Mrs. Padmavati Banda & Sub co-ordinator Mrs. Nirupama Kale consented to be the esteemed judges for this competition.

The topics for the Extempore were as below:

  • If I had three wishes, they would be . . . .
  • How I care for the environment every day.
  • If I were the Head Boy / head girl of the School, I would . . . . . .
  • My country India.
  • The Habit of Reading.

Students displayed a great amount of confidence & in depth knowledge on the topics that were given to them on the spot. Neither they fumbled, nor displayed any sign of hesitation or delay in speaking on the topic given to them.

Our Principal Dr. Mrs. Bindu Saini guided the process of organizing this competition. School Co-ordinator Mrs. Padmavati Banda & Sub co-ordinator Mrs. Nirupama Kale organized the proceedings of the event. C.C.A- in Charge Miss Swaleha Mujawar compeered the session, introduced the Judges and proposed the Vote of Thanks.

Learning Outcomes:

  1. Students developed stage courage.
  2. They were very enthused as they were able to elaborately speak on the topics given to them on the spot.
  3. They were able to express themselves clearly & confidently.
