English Recitation Activity
Poetry is the core of literature, and nursery rhymes are like rocket fuel for a child's development. To spread the fragrance of poetry amongst the students of Nursery and Junior KG, S.B. Patil Public School conducted an English Recitation Activity on 10th December, 2024.
The Nursery kids recited rhymes with cute actions holding appropriate props. Few to mention were, “Baa Baa Black sheep", "Chubby Cheeks", "Wheels on the Bus", etc. The Junior KG students were a step ahead in presenting their poems. They recited with proper voice modulation and engaging actions accompanied by a variety of props.
The main purpose behind conducting this activity was to improve the students’ English Language skills, memory skills, build self-confidence, develop the oratory skills and self-expression.
Our cute ones enjoyed the beauty of expression, thought, rhyme and rhythm and the music of words.

Clay modeling has many benefits like bettering the eye-hand coordination, magnifying creativity, and increasing the attention span. It is a sensory activity which enhances dexterity, gross and fine motor skills, and helps to boost self-confidence of the students.
And so, the Junior KG section of S.B. Patil Public School conducted the Clayton Activity on 13th November, 2024. The tiny little hands worked smoothly and efficiently to fulfil their heart desires and fantasies. They pounded, squeezed, rolled and blended the clay to make some unique and amazing creations such as fish, caterpillars, snakes, butterflies etc., and displayed them with pride.
It was a great way to develop imagination and sparkle creativity to think out of the box. It was fun to have such a wonderful activity for kids. We give a big round of applause to our little model-makers.

Senior KG - Best out of Waste Activity
The fact that the environment needs saving has been instilled in us since we were children. We all are aware of the depletion of the ozone layer with forests disappearing and steadily being replaced by jungles of concrete. But how many of us really take the steps to combat climate change and pollution?
We at S.B. Patil Public School are therefore inculcating the habit of not only being up-to-date with global dilemmas but also taking action from a very young age by conducting a Best Out of Waste activity for our Senior KG student. By doing so students will realise the utility and the surprising number of ways that one object can be reused for new and different purposes. They will think twice before putting anything in the dustbin and most of all, will have fun with dismantling and rebuilding stuff, and proudly go home with something that they themselves made.

The Senior KG Around the World Activity
Pune, Maharashtra | 9th September, 2024
Travelling opens our hearts and minds to the endless knowledge this universe holds. In this fast-paced and interconnected world we live in today, it is important to teach our tiny tots about different places and cultures. In a global society, understanding and appreciating diversity are essential skills that will serve our children well throughout their lives.
Therefore, to instil a sense of global citizenship in our students and encourage them to think beyond borders, we organised an Around the World activity for the pre-primary section’s Senior KG students.
Students dressed up well representing different places and spoke fabulously explaining various specialties about that place. We had kids representing various states of India: Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Assam. We also had little voyagers from the UK, Japan, France and Saudi Arabia. All-in-all, students provided a great tour of the places around the world. They taught us about the different cultures of places we may never have been to. Hence, let us encourage our tiny tots to explore the world over.
Lao Tzu (571 BC) said, “A journey of thousand miles starts with a single step”, and today we took our first step with this activity.
Evoking Pride of being an Indian
Independence Day is a reminder of the sacrifices of our valiant freedom fighters who stood up against the colonizers and even suffered harsh consequences unflinchingly so that the later generations could breath in free air. Slaving for 200 years and claiming back our country makes us marvel at the great leaders. Owing to this, the Pre Primary section of S. B. Patil Public School tried to ensure patriotism in the minds of the future citizens through patriotic song singing activity.
The activity was organised on 14th August 2024, Wednesday to expose our students to music while also enhancing their language and presentation skills. This was an opportunity to teach them the importance of Independence Day. The tiny tots were brimming with enthusiasm and eagerness to show- case their talent. This was followed by a fantabulous ramp walk activity wherein students were dressed up in the attire of freedom fighters like Mahatma Gandhiji, Kamla Nehru, Bal Gangadhar Tilak etc and also fun filled activities for Bagless Day. Teachers had put in their tremendous efforts for the students in keeping the spirit of solidarity and love for the country alive through such activities.Teachers also gave information about the importance of Independence Day celebration to the students.
It was a great day and the entire Pre Primary section was resplendent with a feeling of belonging and pride.
Jai Hind ...!...Jai Bharat...!
Marathi Balgeet Activity
Music is a potent instrument than any other for education because rhythm and harmony find their way into the innermost places of the soul.
The rhythmic patterns and repetition in rhymes make it easier for children to grasp and remember words, enhancing their language acquisition abilities. And when learning is in the mother tongue, it builds strong foundations for a child's cognitive development, improves communication skills, and helps a child to create an emotional connection between the child and their learning environment.
To develop the auditory skills of our tiny tots, a Marathi Balgeet Activity was organised at S.B Patil Public School for the students of Nursery to Senior KG on 11th July, 2024.
Students happily participated with all their zeal. To name a few 'Mamacha Gavala Jauya', 'Chiv Chiv Chimani', 'jhuk Jhuk Jhuk Aageengaadi', 'Ye Re Ye Re Pavsa', 'Nach Re Mora', and more made the list of songs sung which made the atmosphere cheerful. Many students accompanied their recitation with beautiful props. Parents too made great efforts in helping their children prepare which added feathers to this Marathi Balgeet Activity.
