Danceathon 4.0 Regional-Level Inter-School Group Dance Competition

Inter-School Group Dance Competition When music fills a stage, movement becomes more than choreography—it becomes a language of expression, emotion and ideas. Bringing together young dancers from across the region, S.B. Patil Public School hosted the Danceathon 4.0 Regional-Level Inter-School Group Dance Competition on 22nd August, 2026.

The much-awaited event brought together 14 schools from Pune and the PCMC region, with 27 vibrant performances presented by around 200 enthusiastic young dancers under the guidance of their dance teachers. The auditorium came alive with colour, rhythm and infectious energy as each team took to the stage to tell its own story through movement.

Inter-School Group Dance Competition The programme commenced at 09:30 a.m. with the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, conducted in the presence of the school leadership team and the esteemed panel of judges. The proceedings were conducted with warmth and energy by Ms. Ketaki Garnorkar, Ms. Treasa Peters and Ms. Rucha Dixit, whose lively compering kept the audience engaged throughout the event.

Inter-School Group Dance Competition The competition featured an accomplished panel of judges comprising renowned choreographers and dance professionals, bringing their wealth of experience from the worlds of professional choreography, television and digital media to the evaluation process

Inter-School Group Dance Competition The participating teams competed across three categories—Group A (Grades III–V), Group B (Grades VI–VIII), and Group C (Grades IX and X). Yet Danceathon was about far more than steps, formations and synchronisation. It offered students a platform to explore ideas and communicate powerful messages through the universal language of dance

Inter-School Group Dance Competition The themes ranged from fusion, saving the environment, friendship and family relationships, to dreams and aspirations. Each performance transformed these themes into vibrant stories of togetherness, responsibility, hope and imagination, showing how dance can give expression to the ideas, emotions and dreams that shape young minds.

Every performance brought something distinctive to the stage. Striking props, elaborate costumes, expressive storytelling and meticulously synchronised choreography transformed the auditorium into a constantly changing canvas of movement and imagination. The enthusiastic applause from the audience was a fitting response to the dedication and creativity displayed by the young performers.

Inter-School Group Dance Competition As the competition drew to a close, anticipation filled the auditorium. The atmosphere shifted from exuberant celebration to quiet excitement as Ms. Supreya Nitin took the stage to announce the winners. Students waited eagerly, teachers watched with bated breath, and every eye turned towards the podium as the much-awaited names were revealed

Inter-School Group Dance Competition Danceathon 4.0 ultimately celebrated something larger than winning. It celebrated discipline, teamwork, imagination and the courage to express an idea on stage. In every beat, formation and performance, the young dancers reminded us that when talent meets purpose, even a few minutes on a stage can leave a lasting impression.

A Journey of Words, Ideas and Expression:
The Speech Competition 2026

Pune, Maharashtra |10th and 20th August, 2026

Speech Competition 2026 A Speech Competition was organised for students of Grades VI, VII, and VIII to provide them with a platform to express their thoughts with confidence, creativity, and eloquence. The competition for Grades VI and VII was held on 10th August, 2026 in the School Auditorium, while Grade VIII competed on 20th August 2026 in the Creativity Room.

The event began with a preliminary round in the classrooms, ensuring 100% participation. Based on their performance, finalists were selected to compete at the grade level.

For Grade VI, students delivered speeches in English on topics such as A World Without School, Failure – A Secret Weapon, The Best Innovation Ever Made, and AI Teacher or Shortcut. The students presented their ideas with enthusiasm, originality, and confidence.

Speech Competition 2026 Grade VII students showcased their Hindi speaking skills through topics such as ‘Digital India’ (Digital India), ‘Bharatiya Sanskriti aur Sabhyata’ (Indian Culture and Civilisation) and ‘Paani Ki Har Boond Anmol Hai’ (Every Drop of Water is Precious). Their speeches reflected awareness, creativity, and sensitivity towards important social and cultural themes.

The Grade VIII competition added a multilingual flavour, with students speaking in their chosen languages, including Marathi, Sanskrit, Japanese, French, and German. The Marathi topics included ‘Mi Vachalele Pustak’ (The Book I Have Read), ‘Swachhata Abhiyan’ (Cleanliness Campaign) and ‘Shikshan Hech Khare Samarthya’ (Education is the True Strength). The Sanskrit topics included ‘Mama Matam’ (My Opinion), ‘Samayasya Sadupayogah’ (Proper Utilisation of Time) and ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ (The World is One Family). The Japanese topic was ‘Watashi no Sukina Basho’ (My Favourite Place), while the German topics included ‘Meine Schule’ (My School), ‘Meine Hobbys’ (My Hobbies) and ‘Mein Lieblingsfest’ (My Favourite Festival)

Speech Competition 2026 The young speakers took the audience on a fascinating journey through new ideas, vocabulary, imagination, and expression. Each speech refl ected the students’ preparation and willingness to think beyond the ordinary.

The competition was more than a contest—it was a celebration of language, confidence, creativity, and communication. It encouraged students to find their voice, express their ideas clearly, and appreciate the power of words.

Securing First Consolation Prize at Diwakar Smriti Natyachhata Competition

Diwakar Smriti Natyachhata Competition Samarth Kulkarni of Grade IV has brought laurels to the school by securing the First Consolation Prize at the prestigious Diwakar Smriti Natyachhata Competition – Pimpri-Chinchwad Region, organised by the Natyasanskar Kala Academy.

Competing against more than 600 participants from across Pimpri-Chinchwad and Nigdi, Samarth impressed the judges with his exceptional performance, confidence and stage presence, earning him a well-deserved place among the distinguished winners.

The prize distribution ceremony was held at Nigdi Pradhikaran, where the awards were presented by the chief guests, Dr. Kanchan Deshpande, Principal, City Pride School, and Mr. Chandrashekhar Joshi, President, Pradhikaran Senior Citizens’ Forum. The ceremony was also graced by Mr. Prakash Parkhi, Chief Trustee, Natyasanskar Kala Academy.

A Hindi Poem Recitation Competition

Hindi Poem Recitation Competition The Kavya Kalash – Hindi Recitation Competition was organised for the enthusiastic young learners of Grades I and II, providing them with a wonderful platform to showcase their love for the Hindi language, poetry, and creative expression. Similar school recitation events are widely used to nurture confidence, articulation, and presentation skills among young learners.

Hindi Poem Recitation Competition Students were given the opportunity to choose any one of the following themes:
1. Paani Bachao – Save Water
2. Mera Pyaara Vidyalaya – My School
3. Mera Khilauna – My Toy
4. Achchhi Aadatein – Good Habits

Each participant was given 2-3 minutes to present the poem. The young poets came forward with great enthusiasm and confidence, using expressive gestures, voice modulation, and creative props to make their performances engaging and memorable.

Hindi Poem Recitation Competition The final round was judged by Ms. Jayshree Sawant and Ms. Chandrakala Sharma, whose valuable observations and encouragement motivated the young participants.

The competition was filled with joy, creativity, enthusiasm, and beautiful expressions. Students thoroughly enjoyed presenting their poems and listening to their peers. Kavya Kalash successfully encouraged our young learners to develop confidence, improve their speaking skills, and appreciate the beauty of Hindi poetry.
It was indeed a delightful celebration of language, imagination, and young talent!

At the Inter-School Powada Singing Competition 2026

Powada Singing Competition 2026 Students of S.B. Patil Public School enthusiastically participated in the Inter-School Powada Singing Competition 2026, held on Sunday, 16th August, 2026. The competition was jointly organised by Shahir Hinge Lokkala Prabodhini, Pune and Deccan Education Society, Pune.

A team of 14 students accompanied by 2 teachers represented the school in this prestigious competition. Through their energetic and powerful presentation, the students showcased the rich tradition of Maharashtrian folk art and Powada singing, highlighting the values of courage, patriotism and cultural heritage.

Powada Singing Competition 2026 The students received valuable guidance and training from the Marathi teachers, Ms. Yogita Deshmukh, Ms. Jayashree Kale and Ms. Rupali Patil. Their dedicated mentoring helped the students enhance their confidence, voice modulation, expressions, coordination and stage presentation.

Participation in this competition provided the students with an enriching opportunity to connect with Maharashtra’s vibrant cultural heritage while developing teamwork, confidence, communication skills and a sense of pride in our traditional art forms.

Swarsamaradni Inter-school Singing Competition The Grades VII to X choir earned the First Consolation Trophy, receiving the award from Pandit Anand Bhimsen Joshi, son of the legendary Bharat Ratna Pandit Bhimsen Joshi, and renowned Hindustani classical vocalist Pandit Nagesh Adgaonkar. The performance was guided by Ms. Sulochna Pawar, with Mr. Sanmit Ranadive providing excellent tabla accompaniment.

Rainbow of Rhymes Competition The Rainbow of Rhymes Competition for Grades I and II was held on Friday, 31st July, 2026. The competition aimed to encourage young learners to develop confidence, improve their speaking skills, and enjoy the beauty of rhymes.

Rainbow of Rhymes Competition The class round was conducted by the respective class teachers during the first two lectures. Students enthusiastically recited their favourite rhymes with expressions, actions, and confidence. After the class round, each class teacher selected the best two participants from their class to advance to the final round.

The final round was held in the auditorium. The event was judged by Ms. Supreya Nitin and Ms. Gladys Stanley who evaluated the participants based on pronunciation, expression, confidence, voice modulation, and overall presentation.

After careful evaluation, the judges selected the best three winners from Grades I and II. All the participants displayed great enthusiasm, confidence, and talent. The competition was a joyful and enriching experience, and the students thoroughly enjoyed participating. CBSE Young India Culinary Championship (YICC) The S B Patil Public School campus was transformed into a vibrant food festival as students of grade 6 to 8 donned their chef caps and aprons. Working collaboratively in teams, participants faced a strict creative constraint: they had to choose exactly one dish to prepare from three specific categories: Salads, Sandwiches, or Canapés.

CBSE Young India Culinary Championship (YICC) Every dish had to be crafted entirely without utilizing any flame, gas, or electrical heating appliances. The classrooms buzzed with energy as students deftly chopped, mixed, and layered raw ingredients into gastronomic delights. The final spread showcased incredible variety within the chosen categories.

CBSE Young India Culinary Championship (YICC) The activity did not just test the students' culinary skills; it deeply focused on health literacy. Each participating group presented a detailed calorie and nutrition chart alongside their chosen plate. The young culinary champions confidently explained the health benefits of their ingredients, proving their strong understanding of a balanced diet and sustainable food choices.

CBSE Young India Culinary Championship (YICC) The competitive entries were evaluated on taste, presentation, hygiene, nutritional value, and teamwork. An esteemed panel of judges was deeply impressed by the hygiene standards, artistic plating, and unique flavor profiles achieved with raw, wholesome ingredients.

The top-performing teams from this school round have been selected to advance to the next stage. They will proudly represent our institution at the upcoming CBSE Regional Level Competition. The day served as a beautiful reminder that cooking is an essential life skill that nurtures confidence, collaboration, and a healthy lifestyle.

The Power of Words: The Grade V Inter-house Debate Competition

The Inter-school Tech-Fest 2026 S.B. Patil Public School successfully organised the Inter-House Debate Competition for the students of Grade V, providing young learners with an enriching platform to develop their communication, critical thinking, and public speaking skills. The competition aimed to nurture confident speakers while encouraging students to express their ideas with clarity, logic, and respect for differing opinions.

The Inter-school Tech-Fest 2026 As part of the preparation, the English Department introduced students to the fundamentals of debating through an educational video shown during English periods. A preliminary screening round was subsequently conducted by the class teachers, with participants competing house-wise to identify the most promising speakers. The selected students then underwent a focused training session conducted by Ms. Swaleha Mujawar, who guided them in building persuasive arguments, improving their stage presence, and presenting their viewpoints with confidence and conviction.

The Inter-school Tech-Fest 2026 The grand finale witnessed an engaging contest between Green House and Yellow House, with both teams displaying remarkable confidence, teamwork, and well-structured arguments. The participants impressed the audience and judges a like with their eloquence, critical thinking, and ability to present and defend their perspectives while listening respectfully to opposing viewpoints.

The Inter-school Tech-Fest 2026 After a closely contested finale, Green House emerged as the Winners, while Yellow House secured the position of Runners-up. The winning team comprised Mahi Patil, Swara Pawar, Renuka Chaudhari, Siya Vikas Mahajan, Swara Dhoot, Manadha Choudhari, and Aaryan Chanchal Dhande. Representing the Runners-up team, Yellow House included Aadhira Mashale, Anvi Shelke, Priyanshi Pal, Swaroop Sandeep Patel, Raghav Patil, Advita Wani, and Archit Milind Bhosale.

The Inter-House Debate Competition proved to be an inspiring learning experience, encouraging students to think critically, communicate effectively, collaborate with their peers, and appreciate diverse perspectives. Drawing Competition Among the outstanding performers, Swaranjali Patil of Grade XI achieved remarkable success by securing 94% in the Preliminary Round and an exceptional 96% in the Final Round of the virtual quiz, demonstrating exemplary knowledge and academic excellence.

The Grades I and II Inter-House Drawing Competition

Drawing Competition To nurture creativity and encourage artistic expression among young learners, an Inter-House Drawing Competition was organised for the students of Grades I and II on 24th June, 2026 during regular school hours. The event provided an exciting platform for students to showcase their imagination, creativity, and artistic abilities through vibrant and meaningful artwork

Drawing Competition The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students, who eagerly transformed their ideas into colourful drawings based on a variety of age-appropriate themes. Grade I students expressed their creativity through topics such as My Family, Flowers and Butterflies in a Garden, Aquarium/Fish Tank, and A Rainy Day. Meanwhile, Grade II students explored themes including Clean India, Green India, Healthy Food, The Jungle, and A Birthday Party, reflecting their understanding of the world around them through art.

Drawing Competition The young artists impressed everyone with their originality, attention to detail, and imaginative interpretations of the given topics. Each artwork reflected the students’ unique perspectives and showcased their ability to communicate thoughts and emotions through colours and drawings.

Drawing Competition The entries were evaluated on the basis of presentation, relevance to the topic, creativity, appropriate use of paper space, and the overall impact of the artwork. The judging process highlighted not only artistic talent but also the effort and thought invested by each participant

CBSE Grade XII Results S.B. Patil Public School proudly announced the exceptional performance of its Grade XII students in the CBSE Board Examination for the academic year 2025–26. The results stood as a reflection of the students’ perseverance, dedication, and commitment towards academic excellence, bringing immense pride to the entire school community

Among the overall school toppers, Dipanshu Sarkar secured an outstanding 92.6%, followed closely by Vaibhav Ojha with 92.2%. Kashvi Tanwar achieved 91.4%, while S. Anantha Shri secured 91.2%. Uday Nimbhorkar attained 90.8%, Sujal Kapse achieved 89.2%, and Parth Goel secured 88.8%, marking a year of commendable performances across streams.

CBSE Grade XII Results The Science stream witnessed remarkable achievements, with Dipanshu Sarkar leading the stream with 92.6%. Kashvi Tanwar secured 91.4%, followed by S. Anantha Shri with 91.2%. Uday Nimbhorkar achieved 90.8%, while Sujal Kapse secured 89.2%. The students demonstrated consistency, hard work, and academic discipline through their impressive scores.

In the Commerce stream, Vaibhav Ojha emerged as the top scorer with 92.2%, followed by Parth Goel with 88.8%. Khushi Bagree also brought laurels to the school with an excellent score of 87.4%, further highlighting the stream’s commendable academic performance.

CBSE Grade XII Results The overall result analysis reflected the school’s strong academic foundation. Out of 41 students who appeared for the examination, 5 students secured percentages between 91–100, while 14 students achieved scores in the 81–90 bracket. Additionally, 9 students scored between 71–80, and 13 students secured marks within the 61–70 range. The Science stream recorded particularly encouraging results with 33 students appearing for the examination, while the Commerce stream also showcased noteworthy performances.

Colours Beyond the Canvas Each House fielded a strong team of 7 members who competed with great spirit across four exciting rounds. The questions tested awareness of global and Indian heritage sites, history, and culture, making it both challenging and enriching for all.
