National Sports Day Celebrated with Inter-Class Tug of War Competition

Green Monsoon Marathon 2026 On 29th August, 2026, on the occasion of National Sports Day, S.B. Patil Public School, Ravet, organized an exciting Inter-Class Tug of War Competition for the students of Grade VII on 29 August 2026. The competition was conducted in a knockout format, fostering a spirit of teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy competition among the students.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome to the Section Head of Middle School, Ms. Vandana Sangle Ma’am. The celebration then proceeded with the garlanding of the portrait of Major Dhyan Chand, the legendary Indian hockey player and an iconic symbol of Indian sporting excellence. The tribute paid homage to his remarkable contribution to Indian sports and his enduring legacy.

Green Monsoon Marathon 2026 The excitement reached its peak when Ms. Vandana Sangle Ma’am performed the toss for the first match, officially marking the beginning of the Inter-Class Tug of War Competition. Her presence and encouragement motivated the young participants and added significance to the occasion.

The Grade VII students participated with great enthusiasm and energy. The knockout format made every match challenging and exciting, as the winning teams advanced to the subsequent rounds. The participants demonstrated strength, coordination, determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the competition. Their classmates enthusiastically cheered for their respective teams, creating a vibrant and energetic atmosphere.

Green Monsoon Marathon 2026 After a series of thrilling and closely contested matches, the competition concluded with VII D emerging as the Winners in the Boys’ category, while VII A secured the Winners’ position in the Girls’ category. Both teams displayed exceptional coordination, determination, and team spirit to claim the top honours.

The competition was organised with the objective of promoting physical fitness, team spirit, discipline, perseverance, and a positive competitive attitude among students. Tug of war, being a sport that relies heavily on collective effort and coordination, provided an excellent opportunity for the students to understand the importance of working together towards a common goal.

A Gold-Winning Stroke

Gold-Winning Stroke Vivaan Dhananjay Jadhav of IV-D brought laurels to the school by securing a Gold Medal at the State-Level Fencing Competition held in Parbhani on 22nd August, 2026. His outstanding performance has earned him a place at the National-Level Fencing Competition, to be held in Jammu & Kashmir.









A Black Belt of Determination

Black Belt of Determination Parth Vinod Khond of Grade V-B has achieved a remarkable milestone in his martial arts journey by earning his Black Belt – Dan 1 at the Karate Gradation Examination and District-Level Ashihara Karate Tournament, organised by the Yoddha Martial Arts Sports & Fitness Academy, Pune, on 15th August, 2026.

Green Monsoon Marathon 2026 S.B. Patil Public School proudly celebrates the commendable performance of its students at the Green Monsoon Marathon 2026, which was held on 9th August, 2026 where 42 students participated in the Under-16 category, showcasing their enthusiasm, determination and sporting spirit.

Among the participants, two talented Grade IX students brought laurels to the school with their impressive performances. Rajvardhan Bhondve secured an outstanding 4th place, while Rajveer Barne finished 6th in the Under-16 category.

A Sporting Journey at G.D. Birla Memorial

PCET Premier League 2026 The G.D. Birla Memorial Competition 2026–27 was conducted from 7th April to 9th April, 2026 at B.K. Birla Center for Education School, Shirgaon. The school participated in the Under-17 Boys category, competing in Football, Volleyball, and Cricket.

Football

The football team began their campaign on a commanding note, registering a resounding 7–0 victory in the opening round. They advanced to the quarterfinals, where they encountered strong opposition and were defeated 3–1. Anish Raut stood out as the tournament’s highest goal scorer for the team, netting an impressive 5 goals.

Volleyball

PCET Premier League 2026 Displaying resilience and team spirit, the volleyball team secured a convincing 2–0 win in the first round, followed by a closely contested 2–1 victory in the pre-quarterfinals. Their journey concluded in the quarterfinals, where they put up a commendable fight but were narrowly defeated 2–1.

Cricket

PCET Premier League 2026 The cricket team progressed to the quarterfinals after receiving a walkover in the opening round. In a tightly fought match, they were defeated by a margin of 2 wickets. Lavish Chaudhary delivered an exceptional performance, achieving a remarkable hat-trick during the match.
