Independence Day 2026 at S.B. Patil Public School was made even more meaningful with the presentation of the School Parivaar Awards, an initiative dedicated to recognising the many individuals who contribute to the life and functioning of the school.
The awards celebrated not only achievement in the conventional sense, but also the qualities that hold a school community together—leadership, adaptability, mentorship, innovation, dependability, problem-solving, care, teamwork and safety. Students, parents, support staff, teaching and administrative faculty, and members of the leadership team were acknowledged as integral parts of the school parivaar.
The awards, instituted by the Skill Bharat Association, recognised individuals across different levels of the school community. From visionary leadership and strategic planning to ensuring safety, dependable transportation and everyday care, each award highlighted a different contribution to the collective life of the institution.

By recognising contributions across roles and responsibilities, the initiative celebrated the collective spirit of the school and the shared responsibility of nurturing a safe, supportive and enriching environment for every learner.
The Independence Day celebration thus became an occasion not only to honour the nation, but also to honour the people who help the school community grow, flourish and move forward together. Every role matters. Every contribution counts. Every member is part of the Parivaar.
